Un

"It takes two to clap..."

I missed the time stamp of 00:03 but I hope I'm not late.

This first part of a somewhat tumultuous and fervent prelude has evolved into an impassioned exchange of emotions and realness...almost tangible, in fact.

I'm thankful for caving in on the night of the Jellico ball...and also for salvaging whatever remnants of hope I have left to feel.

Recent events have revealed the essence of it all - almost as if curtains were drawn to finally reveal the revelation - that of which I might possibly, if not indefinitely, love again...

I'm gonna miss her smile

I did not have a clue nor inkling that the stars would start twinkling, for I was just pretending,
and hiding from myself.

Thankfully, it wasn't too late; destruction escaped. And now, another momentary departure.

This phantom being of mine - is it really for keeps? Or is it merely a romantic appeal fuelled by sweet seduction? Maybe a party that hasn't ended although the lights have been switched on?

Royksopp's "You Don't Have A Clue" comes to mind....

Gosh, I'm gonna miss her smile.

Röyksopp forever!!!

Ok I just found out today that one of my favourite electronica groups, Röyksopp, had released a new album 'Junior' last month. Been waiting so long for a new release and finally, here it is, the first two tracks:

If these two tracks piqued your interest, the rest of the album is much better. Really.

"The well-planned joke"

Familiarity should be avoided at all costs.
It stops us in our tracks, it beckons and then it regurgitates all that you've swallowed.
It's a dangerous thing...look at it in the face and you'll feel the sting.

She was my muse and never will there be another use
for visualogues nor storyboards,
and for all that it was worth,
it was worth it all.

Enveloped cardboard papers held words that touched the soul and healed the anger,
but never will words spill out in such a manner,
a verbal diarrhoea of emotions that held sway,
with words that pluck my heartstrings today.

The emotional influx is occasionally too much to bear,
ranging from love to despair,
So I stashed them away,
And walked away into the day.

Words of Wisdom

I think I can live by these words.

I must, I must, I must increase my bust think positively.

I is skinny but fat?

Possibly the most paradoxical statement you'll ever hear this week - I'm skinny but fat.

Uh-huh. I have a huge belly. How it came about is probably an accumulation of laziness and an inactive lifestyle since...erm, CE, it's all your fault!!! Yes, since my good old lazy days in Melbourne have followed me in the form of tummy fats. I need to start running again. I hate running.

I feel sick, physically. Sick in a sense where I've totally lost my appetite for food. I have had ZERO cravings - not even for my fave Hock Lam beef noodles, lasagne from 211 Roof Terrace, the familiar laksa with plenty of hum, CKT with plenty of hum, aglio olio pasta, chilli or black pepper crab, Caesar salad, awfully sinful cakes, creamy ice-cream, fluffy cheesecakes, chocolates instead of sex, a rump of wagyu steak, pad thai the 'love food', sashimi as 'detox' food, hokkien mee with lots of chilli, potato chips or prawn crackers, pots of mussels....

None of them do the trick now. This is very alarming. I'm usually quite the glutton so what's happening? The mere thought of food turns me off. Is this a symptom of anorexia? Of course not. I eat. But much, much lesser these days - about 1 or 2 meals a day perhaps? I wouldn't even call them meals because most of the time, I just keep snacking on bread, buns, apples, bananas, Milo, tea, coffee and the occasional scone from Spinelli.

Oh, and I've quit snacking (on junk food, I mean). *gasp* So unlike me...

Yes, so speaking of fat, my tummy is, but recently I've been getting comments from many people saying that I've lost weight! Me? Cannot be...or actually, maybe. It's funny how I got these comments at the same time.

The paintball session on Sunday has made me and Tiger realise that we've been totally out of action coz the weak us are suffering from muscle aches in our quads and it's making us very dysfunctional (yet extremely mortal) thanks to all the squatting, hiding and running about. I totally empathise, so we made a pact to hit the gym when we recover from our limping stunts around the office.

Don't even get my started on the bruises....
