We're running along parallel lines.
For a while, the lines were meant to meet somewhere, sometime.
But now, it's divided and we are running towards an uncommon goal.

#iwtfy
And when I asked you how you'd been I meant I missed you more than I've ever missed anything before.
I don't ask people how they've been...

2011
Am happy. The turn of the year has, so far, been good. To summarise:
- Great holiday
- Good food
- Laughing more
- Spending more quality time with loved ones
- Working slightly lesser (hmm, good or bad?)
- Am happy with my recent material purchases (half-agreeing with "Whoever said money can't buy happiness didn't know where to shop")
- Dreading my final semester but can't wait to finish it so I can start on other lessons
- Mentally planning another holiday
- The girlfriend's been in a good mood (makes her seem cuter these days)
- Mum has been in a good mood too (I think 'bribing' her with a Burberry bag works...hahaha)
- I've been very zen and worry-free
- Now I'm excited about Chinese New Year...
- And the idea of getting inked is slowly beginning to materialise, albeit a few technical and practical issues. Ha.
Happy new year everyone...trust that it's gonna be a good year and it will be.

Learning to be zen
Peace is something that's earned. It's not a given; it doesn't come naturally. Neither does it remain this way forever. In every country, leaders seek to keep peace - some even sacrificing their lives to restore it.
To speak of peace is a tad bit cliche but peace, especially in the mind, heart and soul, is such a foreign concept to me, I actually resort to writing about it. Yup. Hell, I'd even tattoo it on my forehead if I could walk down the streets without getting funny stares or risking my mum disowning me.
You upset my zen and I'll have to fight very hard to restore it. Even at this moment, it's at a tipping point and any flick of the hand or a baby's breath will upset my cosmos. I'd like to think I've outgrown my self-destructive phase and that I handle things with a calm aptitude now. But is it true?
Peace in the mind is something that needs to be, for me, learned and earned. I'm just not born as someone with a positive outlook. I hate that about myself.
My life, my thoughts, my emotions and my philosophies are rather transparent. If you're in my life, yet you don't know anything about me - my emotions, my philosophies, my likes and dislikes, my mentality and my thoughts - I really do think, at times, you don't belong in my life at all.
