I is skinny but fat?

Possibly the most paradoxical statement you'll ever hear this week - I'm skinny but fat.

Uh-huh. I have a huge belly. How it came about is probably an accumulation of laziness and an inactive lifestyle since...erm, CE, it's all your fault!!! Yes, since my good old lazy days in Melbourne have followed me in the form of tummy fats. I need to start running again. I hate running.

I feel sick, physically. Sick in a sense where I've totally lost my appetite for food. I have had ZERO cravings - not even for my fave Hock Lam beef noodles, lasagne from 211 Roof Terrace, the familiar laksa with plenty of hum, CKT with plenty of hum, aglio olio pasta, chilli or black pepper crab, Caesar salad, awfully sinful cakes, creamy ice-cream, fluffy cheesecakes, chocolates instead of sex, a rump of wagyu steak, pad thai the 'love food', sashimi as 'detox' food, hokkien mee with lots of chilli, potato chips or prawn crackers, pots of mussels....

None of them do the trick now. This is very alarming. I'm usually quite the glutton so what's happening? The mere thought of food turns me off. Is this a symptom of anorexia? Of course not. I eat. But much, much lesser these days - about 1 or 2 meals a day perhaps? I wouldn't even call them meals because most of the time, I just keep snacking on bread, buns, apples, bananas, Milo, tea, coffee and the occasional scone from Spinelli.

Oh, and I've quit snacking (on junk food, I mean). *gasp* So unlike me...

Yes, so speaking of fat, my tummy is, but recently I've been getting comments from many people saying that I've lost weight! Me? Cannot be...or actually, maybe. It's funny how I got these comments at the same time.

The paintball session on Sunday has made me and Tiger realise that we've been totally out of action coz the weak us are suffering from muscle aches in our quads and it's making us very dysfunctional (yet extremely mortal) thanks to all the squatting, hiding and running about. I totally empathise, so we made a pact to hit the gym when we recover from our limping stunts around the office.

Don't even get my started on the bruises....
