The age of looking lesbian is over..

Because I don't want to enter my 30s looking like a dyke.

Not that there's nothing wrong with it, but when a woman turns 30, it's somehow like a "promotion" of some sort. You're independent, strong and a force to be reckoned with (or so I hope). Looking VERY MUCH like a lesbo is no longer my cup of tea and let's face it, it's easier looking straight than gay.

In fact, I no longer exude the gay vibes my colleague says I do. My hair is no longer short, spunky and styled..it's now longER, bob and flat.

I've ditched my Converse sneakers in the corner and spend most of my days in flats, the occasional four inch heel when I feel dressy, but most of the time, ballet flats and flats.

I've swapped my straight cut jeans for slim cut ones, and then ventured to leggings coz I gave up on looking for nice fitting skinny jeans (I concluded they're a rarity of some sort).

I now wear shorter skirts. Note: shorter, not skimpier.

I keep my eyes peeled for dresses now - of course uber feminine, floral things still irk me hell a lot. Please keep them away from me, thank you very much and pass me some masculine leather pouch or accessory because I can make any masculine item look feminine enough for me. Hehe (I bet no one knows my bag was bought from the men's section).

Don't be mistaken though - I'm still me. But always transforming...always..and a tad bit faster than most people.

Next goal: By the age of 38, I will be donning Prada dresses and aging gracefully.
