The Unexamined Life is Not Worth Living

I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance. - Socrates

Something is brewing inside me. Not only have I been trying so hard to control my emotions (or PMS); I’ve also begun to rationalize everything I hear, see and experience. I want to know what triggers one’s behaviour and thoughts towards certain things, what is the underlying cause that drives one to react to situations in a certain way and how does that affect his or her emotions.

Though not entirely judging people, my quest in digging and probing may perhaps lead people into thinking I’m doing just that as well as imposing my principles onto others. I’ve come to realize that this inner force that is driving me to question all that surrounds me may perhaps provide me with a greater understanding of my life once again. I’ve grown to accept that such rationalization is beneficial and the quest for meaning is endless.

I now know my life purpose and I extend a warm hug to those who have contributed to my happiness, with meaning. I thank those who have afflicted pain, because one will not experience joy without it.

It's an ongoing quest and I wish that you, like me, will eventually yearn to comprehend the mysteries of our existence and finally embrace a purpose for it in this short moment we have on Earth. Since life is short, all the more we should channel it to one that is of purpose and meaning...in your own ways of course.
