Body Composition Analysis

It's been over a year since I joined the gym and picked up tennis. At the beginning of the gym membership, I did a body composition analysis to calculate my overall fitness level, strength and fat distribution (and plenty of other stuff as well).

This year, I did my body assessment again and it seems like my overall fitness level has improved, although other areas have slightly deteriorated:

Weight
2006 - same
2007 - same

Body Fat Mass
2006 - 11.8
2007 - 11.0

Percent Body Fat (normal value for female is 23.6%)
2006 - 24.6
2007 - 23.6

Bone Mass (calcium level)
2006 - 2.51
2007 - 2.48
(OH NO! Calcium going down!)

Strength (Right arm)
2006 - 1.06
2007 - 1.07

Strength (Left arm)
2006 - 1.07
2007 - 1.10

Strength (Trunk)
2006 - 11.8
2007 - 11.7

Strength (Right leg)
2006 - 5.06
2007 - 4.62

Strength (Left leg)
2006 - 4.98
2007 - 4.53

BMI (Body Mass Index where below 18.4 is underweight)
2006 - 17.6
2007- 18.0

Overall Fitness Score
2006 - 70
2007 - 73

Har-har!! My BMI and overall fitness score has improved. However, I'm not too sure why my strength has decreased for my legs and trunk (maybe Moo's hubby can explain why).

I only started pump classes about 3 months ago, so I guess I'll wait for another six months to a year before I go for a body analysis again, just to see if the pump classes do help in improving my endurance and strength. The PT kept persuading me to take up training sessions with him for $75 per session, but it's pretty expensive and there's no point training me because I don't have the focus to do it on my own; I'd rather go for pump classes. And because I HATE to run on a treadmill or jog around the estate, I play tennis for cardio instead.

Let's hope all these pump classes and tennis sessions would help. Sounds like a lot, but I'm really not doing much. Hehehe.
