The passing of one of my fave Hollywood actor's, Heath Ledger, struck a chord within me. It is definitely shocking and unbelievable that someone who seemed so alive and energetic (and about to promote one of his new films), would be found dead at the foot of his bed on one random day. The news of his death was so shocking that fans and people who knew him as an actor started crowding the streets of his apartment in order to learn more about his death. He's one of my favourite actors mainly because he was such a courageous one, not to mention, extremely talented. Not only was he charming, he also seemed to be able to touch a lot of people's lives through his films, and particularly did so in Brokeback Mountain. I think his performance in Monster's Ball was excellent as well.
If life is really like what Shakespeare said, "like a stage", then this would have been his closing act. Rest in peace, Heath Ledger.###
The uncertainty of death lies in the fact that we never know when it's our turn to go; it's sudden, it comes without warning and even if it does, it still sends shock waves to people who know you, loved you, touched by you, or related to you in the most remote way.
It's so easy to die, but to lead a happy and healthy life is just so difficult. Everyday we try not to fall ill, seek happiness, find love, exercise, keep fit, save for retirement, when at the end of it all, we meet with Death.
I wish I would never have to pass away with regrets.
