The music was so-so, not something you'd call fantastic. R&B was being played for a few hours, followed by house music by Kate Monroe till the end of the party. The crowd was a tad bit boring. Bunny had booked a day-bed and while we were prancing, screaming, dancing, running, teasing, jumping, posing and getting madly insane at our bed, most of the girls around us were sitting (prim and properly) on theirs and not really moving around much. One would have thought that their butts were permanently glued to the bed.This was only the beginning:

Official group shot!We heard that the pool was open so we made our way there, stripping along the way. I was the only one who ended up in the pool just when Irene made the announcement that there was going to be a pool volleyball game (shit)! I was the 2nd person in the pool and it was too late to get out.
So I went to the middle of the pool and met some girls who decided to join in the fun. We were separated into two teams - expats and SG girls. I was in the SG team (duh) along with Rebecca Tan (mmm) and another girl whom we saw on the monorail at Vivocity. Well, the SG team lost, but what the heck! We got a free drink each!
Rebecca kept telling me that she was wasted (hahaha) and while we were waiting for further instructions from Irene, an American chick came up to me and said that I looked too serious. I told her that I'm feeling so high now and I don't know what I'm doing in the pool. She mentioned that she's here on holiday because her dad works here and she also said, "Singaporeans are so sterile!"
I totally agree.

I stayed in the pool after the game and was dancing in it with Ben and another friend of his, who happened to be with a female friend. She was also telling me that she doesn't understand why no one is in the pool! I don't understand as well. It was so fucking boring. I would have expected the pool to be packed!
What made it worse was that we saw plenty of bikini girls sashaying around but all of them were dry and sitting on their day-beds. Zzzz. Bunny was sick so she couldn't come in (what a pity), Krysten too. Fey was having her period, Elaine is almighty scared of water (although the water was only waist deep) and only one of her friends jumped in.
To my horror, I even saw a butch (wearing red) walk over the pool, dipped her toes into it, shuddered and walked off! The pool was heated, for Christ's sake! Snorrrreeeessss....if Moo was here, we'd be wading till we get all wrinkled up like old prunes!
If this was a gay event (not that it wasn't), the pool would have been filled to the brim with men that you'd have to hold your breath to make space for yourself!
After the first round of dipping, the madness finally begins:

Not too pleased...Elaine refused to leave and so we had to get Agnes to come down and fetch her home. Elaine managed to get a free ticket for Agnes at the very last hour of the party but she didn't want to go in because she had a friend with her. Booo...
So we left around 4:30am when we could have just stayed to watch the sunrise and continue dipping in the pool or sea till 6am. Oh well, at least we had good company! Maybe we should consider flying overseas for the next Pride event! Woohoo!
