The beginning of 3 year's worth of stress

The time has come to start studying again. Yep. Uni is officially starting on 14 July and I'm getting mixed feelings about this.

I received my two textbooks from Amazon.com last night (Bunny bought shoes so we combined our purchases via Vpost). The content wasn't too heavy or dry, but somehow a thought just hit me, "Why the hell am I subjecting myself to all this?"

Don't misunderstand. I love academic subjects, particularly subjects to do with sociology, humanities, history and the arts. But why that thought occurred to me was because I'm also currently working full-time and that will never change. So to juggle a Master degree, which I consider extremely important to me that I pass each subject with at LEAST a distinction, on top of work can be very, very tiring, not to mention time-consuming (considering the amount of research, analysis and writing is required for each essay!). I have high expectations for myself and I will NOT forgo my work or my studies just to be successful in either one of them. In other words, they're both first priority in my life now.

So here's to a beginning of a very stressful 3 years. Wish me luck. :)

And shit. I haven't even thought of a research topic yet!
