Masks
I don't know much, but I know enough to see that we're all wearing masks and lying to one another.
I might not know everything, but I know that poetry can be detrimental, masked with superfluous words that sway according to situations.
I don't know everything, but I know that a person will never change. I will never, neither will you. The only thing that changes is the mask that you wear.
So what mask are you wearing? A white, brittle porcelain mask that cracks a little when you smile? A heavy paper mache mask covered in thick paint and feathers, which hides the many layers? Or a semi-translucent veil that covers only your mouth to hide your secrets?
What mask would you wear for the sake of peace and tolerance? Could anyone lead a life without hiding behind a front?
Would you take off that mask if you could?
