The one-and-only Police concert - 4 February '08

Truth be told, I have never listened to ANY Police songs and all I wanted to do there was to watch Sting perform. I did enjoy myself during the concert though because everyone was so spontaneous and people are now saying that it was one of the best concerts ever held at the Indoor Stadium.

Tickets for this concert were not cheap at all, so we got the $150 one and were seated at our usual "T" block section:

We arrived around 8:10pm and we thought that the concert had started, but apparently Fiction Plane (apparently Bunny found out this morning that the lead singer of Fiction Plane is actually Sting's son!) was doing the opening act for the Police concert, so we sat there watching them perform for a good 1 hour or so. The actual concert only started at 9:15pm.

Unable to upload the video here because the file size is too huge.

Sting was great; looking, singing and performing exceptionally well. There's something about a charming and charismatic ex-school teacher crooning on stage with a bass guitar:

It was a MADHOUSE at the Indoor Stadium last night and everyone were on their feet, waving their arms in the air, clapping and dancing at the same time:

The concert only lasted about 1.5 hours and throughout the whole time, he never really stopped to talk to the audience much, and continued playing track after track, after track, which I think pretty much pleased the audience there. Perhaps they were rushing for time because Fiction Plane took up most of their concert time. Hahahaha!

If I had a dad like that, I'll definitely grow up to be a rock star and play at Daddy's concert or have him play at mine:
