Reunion with the Melbourne Crew (Day 1 and 2)

I've been feeling really happy and at home with the bunch from Melbourne - Zon, Richard, Jun and CE. They're all in SG now and will be spending close to a week here, and I've been trying to spend most of my time with them.

Day 1

They touched down on Saturday night and we met at Bugis on Sunday before deciding what to do for the rest of the night:

Me and Richard - waiting for the girls to return from the toilet

Tourists who come to Singapore must, must, must eat the hawker food here, so we brought them to the hawker centre at East Coast Park:

We sat them down and told them that they are to eat whatever we ordered. So we went ahead and ordered satay, chicken wings, oyster omelette and a sting ray. It's really quite a lot because CE wasn't even eating much, just pecking on her food (and guzzling on a lot of beer):

(Hawker) Food!!!

We went to meet Zon and Cindy at Siglap after dinner and headed to the Malay prata store for (non-alcoholic) drinks. Elena joined us afterwards and we were having a ball of a time laughing and listening to her stories, CE's lame jokes and Richard's strange theories:

Zon is acting shy and CE is acting like she doesn't know someone's taking a picture

Looking a bit "aunty-ish"

I think we spent close to 3 hours there before we went for a quick (alcoholic) drink at another place.

Day 2

I took the day off to accompany them and the initial plan was to go to Mustafa! Hahaha. But they changed their minds, so I met them in town instead and brought them for chicken rice at Far East Plaza:

Walking...

...walking...

...still walking

...and walking

Stopping to buy ice-cream for the tourist

We went for a bit of shopping at Wisma and Taka, most of the time looking for a dress for me so that I can either wear it for this month's black-tie event or for Bunny's brother's ROM in March.

All of us left at around 6.30; they headed to Zon's place for a family dinner and I went to meet Bunny to attend the Police concert (which I'll mention in another post).
