Once again, we refused to budge until we've filled our stomachs:
I didn't even know that it now costs $3 to get into Sentosa. I've always thought it was $2. This day pass doesn't really get you anywhere because you still need to pay for every single minor or major attraction in Sentosa and it's mostly costly, around $19.90 or $16.90 for certain attractions.
First destination - The Merlion:
We were walking towards the flower exhibition when Zon spotted this huge python where you can pay $5 and take pictures with:
The highlight of our excursion at Sentosa was sitting the luge:
Apparently they place cameras at the end of the ride as souvenirs for you to purchase:
Zon purchased the pictures at the end of the ride and she'll be scanning them in when she gets back to Melbourne.
With every luge you get to sit the skyride back up to the peak and down to the starting point. But since we were near Siloso beach, we decided to just chill there for awhile first and that was when CE bodyslammed Jun onto the sand and I managed to snap this uber unglam and obscene picture of her:
She has yet to bribe me so this picture shall remain here for now

We stopped at some joint called Bikini Bar to rest for awhile and plan what to do next:
The skyride back up was a bit scary for me because it was only when we were dangling in mid-air that I realised that I'm actually afraid of heights!

My palms were sweaty, but at least I wasn't that afraid until I was shivering all over. Strange enough, the last time I sat one of these was at some snow mountain - Mt. Bulla and the wind was so strong it was blowing my carriage sideways. Maybe the older you get, the less daring you become.

While waiting for the bus to bring us around the island, we spotted this:
A peacock crossing the zebra crossing in front of Rasa Sentosa Resort

At Siloso beach:
Poor coconut tree
Cannot make it

They got up there in a jiffy!
But took a long time getting down
Making our way up the tower
Nothing much to see though
Cocky peacock
"Whateverrrr!"
Taking the bus back to Imbiah
CE and the rest wanted to take the luge again, so we went for a 2nd round, this time round we posed nicely for the cameras (I think Zon will scan the photos in when she can).
We left Sentosa and headed to Chinatown. By the time we reached there, it was 8.15pm and I wanted to bring them to the beef noodle place at Far East Square, but it was closed. So we ended up having some Thai buffet/ala-carte dinner in a restaurant I never knew existed. Our initial plan was to go to the Party World KTV at Chinatown but since Zon and I had to leave around midnight, we just went for drinks at Marquee at Far East Square.
Although we only stayed at Sentosa for 3-4 hours, we were feeling rather tired by the end of the night. It was enjoyable though and I believe everyone had a great time doing nothing but riding the luge! :D
